Before he got into cars, he got into people and their desires such as their desire to be relaxed, comfortable and serviced to the hilt at chains like Hilton, Holiday Inns and Fairmont. All the customer service rules and ethics have followed Ashok Dilawri into his dealerships, and into the hearts of his many managers and staff.
Ashok has always believed that nurturing true basic human values in a business setting, “brings success to our businesses, and to the personal lives of our employees.” He believes that all decisions are to be made with true ‘integrity’. “Leadership is setting good examples for others to follow – and expecting as much from others.”
Ashok has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Panjab in India. From there he earned a B.S. Degree in Business and Hotel Administration at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Then he served as Hotel Manger in the aforementioned chains, before trying his hand at the car biz – as a General Manager at Avis.
After Avis, he moved into the business that would become his true calling, the automobile dealership. He worked all departments and levels for 3 different dealerships, before becoming General Manager, and eventually, owning his own.
Since that first dealership, Ashok added 3 more locations, 3 unprofitable and “under-in¬spired” locations, and turned them into top performing dealerships. On top of that he has experience at building from the ground up, literally, first Honda, then Mazda, a Nissan and yet another Honda in 2009; all in brand new locations.
After 28 years in the Car Business he leads one of Canada’s Most Dynamic and Progressive Group of Automobile Companies. Ashok Dilawri is a strong believer in implementing the best technology available to improve productivity and processes – instilling further employee pride!

Glen Daman has been in the automotive industry for over 20 years. Over half of those with the Dilawri Automotive group. Born and raised in a small town St. Adolphe Manitoba. Glen is an avid fundraiser for numerous charities in our community. Glen will tell you his greatest success story is at home – he married his high school sweetheart and has two sons, ages 19 and 17.
Ryan Campbell

Ryan Campbell is a Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of experience in industry. For the last 3 plus years, Ryan was the Chief Financial Officer of Color Ad Packaging Ltd, a manufacturer of flexible packaging products and pressure sensitive labels with offices in Winnipeg, Pickering and North Carolina.
For the eleven plus years prior to that, Ryan held various finance and accounting positions, from Assistant Controller to VP Finance, with The Faneuil Group (most recently known as Inspyre Solutions), a customer contact company who at one time had facilities in Winnipeg, Toronto, Florida, Virginia, West Virginia, and Tennessee and almost 1,000 employees.
Ryan articled with Deloitte & Touche and received is professional designation in 1994. He is also looking forward to a long and successful career with the Dilawri Auto Group.
